For the second time in its history, the Lexus CT 200h has been awarded the title of the most ecological car. The Lexus Hybrid Drive technology gives the CT 200h the ability of producing just 82g/km of CO2.

In second place tied with two sibling models we have the Seat Mii 1.0 Ecofuel Start&Stop. This version uses CNG fuel and is a perfect car for urban drive.

Sibling of the Seat Mii we have the Skoda Citigo 1.0 Green tec. With 98g/km of CO2 this city car is one the most ecological cars in the world according do VCD.

The last sibling is the eco up! that uses the same CNG technology as the Seat Mii and Skoda Citigo.

The new Peugeot 308 uses the new diesel BlueHDi engine to become one of the most ecological cars in the world. Thanks to this engine the car produces 96g/km of CO2.

The new e-gas technology makes the A3 Sportback 1.4 TFSI g-tron S tronic the fourth most ecological car 2014/2015. This car can use petrol, CNG or Audi's e-gas and produces CO2 as low as 88g/km.

The most recent update to the Prius range hands the most popular hybrid model in the world CO2 emissions of 92g/km. For 2014/2015 the Toyota Prius earned fifth place in VCD's rankings.

The new C4 Cactus has just arrived on the market and already features on the most ecological rankings thanks to the BlueHDi technology.

The Volkswagen Polo equipped with the most recent BlueMotion technologies has a 3.1l/100km average consumption with 82g/km of CO2 emissions. It stands in 7th place in the most ecological rankings.

In 8th place we have the Toyota Yaris Hybrid, a car that has been acclaimed by the industry for its combination of comfort and efficiency. The car consumes 3.2l/100km and produces 88g/km of CO2.

The new three-cylinder turbo Puretech engine from PSA hands the Peugeot 2008 8th place tied with the Toyota Yaris.

The new generation Citroën C1 lands in 10th place of the rankings with the VTi 68 Stop & Start version. It consumes 3.8l/100km and emits 88g/km of CO2.
