Homemade PC Racing Cockpits from $140,000 to Nearly Free

Got a cool $140,000 lying around? Then you can buy yourself a full-size F1 car racing simulator. It has got 3 23in screens, 5.1 surround sound, full pedals and a quick-disconnect steering wheel.

But what if you want to get into PC racing and do not have enough money to buy a house to spend on it? It is actually not that hard to build one yourself if you are handy or even buy a cheaper pre-built model. There are sites online that will sell you the plans to build one, or check out this link where a guy builds his own from scratch.

They might not look like an F1 car, but they do the same thing.
