Economic interests are based not only upon greed but in consumer preferences as well (lol). As long as the vast majority of the consumers do not see a clear advantage in fully electric automobiles, the markets cannot satisfy a need that just isn't there. Maybe when the power and mileage reach a the gas cars average this will become a reality. (fingers crossed).

Yeah, it would be good for that to happen in like the next 10 to 15 years... hopefully I'm not being too unrealistic
